Joan Oliver i Sallarès (Catalan pronunciation: [ʒuˈan uliˈβe j səʎəˈɾɛs]), also known by his pseudonym Pere Quart, (Sabadell, 1899 - Barcelona, 1986) was a Catalan poet, playwright, literary manager, translator, narrator, and journalist. He is considered one of the most important twentieth-century writers of Catalonia.
