Oddr Snorrason whose name is also sometimes Anglicized as Odd Snorrason was a 12th-century Icelandic Benedictine monk at the Þingeyraklaustur monastery (Þingeyrarklaustur). The monastery was founded in 1133 and was the first in Iceland. Source: Wikipedia (en)
