Abū al-Ḥasan ʿAlī ibn ʿUmar ibn Aḥmad ibn Mahdī al-Dāraquṭnī (Arabic: أَبُو ٱلْحَسَن عَلِيّ بْن عُمَر بْن أَحْمَد بْن مَهْدِيّ ٱلدَّارَقُطْنِيّ; 918–995 CE / 306–385 AH), commonly known as al-Dāraquṭnī (Arabic: ٱلدَّارَقُطْنِيّ), was a Sunni Muslim scholar and traditionist best known for compiling the hadith collection Sunan al-Daraqutni.
