Joanna Chmielewska (Polish: [jɔˈanna xmjɛˈlɛfska]; 2 April 1932 – 7 October 2013), was the pen name of Irena Kühn (née Becker), a Polish novelist and screenwriter. Her work is often described as "ironic detective stories".
