It is incredibly good. It is as good as the best of the Dark Jewels if not better. Intrigue is still going strong as we discover what the HFL is up to. The blend of the various species (Sanguinati, all the 'gards an the Others) is hinted upon, never directly said leaving suspense on both sides, humans and terra indigene. I can't wait to read the next one, please do not make the wait too long. You may like the other urban stuff (and there is plenty good out there) but this is <em>it</em>. I loved it. Can I put 6 stars out of 5? That would get it, hands down.
