Éditions Grasset (French pronunciation: [edisjɔ̃ ɡʁasɛ]) is a French publishing house founded in 1907 by Bernard Grasset (1881–1955). Grasset publishes French and foreign literature, essays, novels and children's books, among others. Bernard Grasset sold ownership of the company to Hachette in 1954. In 1967, Éditions Grasset merged with Éditions Fasquelle. Today it operates as a subsidiary of Hachette, which has been owned by Lagardère Group since 1981. Source: Wikipedia (en)
