Henry Kane was born in New York City. He was a lawyer before he began his career as a writer. In his career, wrote over 60 novels, including about 30 featuring Peter Chambers. In 1954, he directed and produced for the radio show "Cemetary Attack" which was based on his Peter Chambers series of detective novels.
