Diane Goode (born January 14, 1949) is an American children's book author and illustrator. She has written several children's books and illustrated over 60, including New York Times bestsellers Founding Mothers and Ladies of Liberty and the Caldecott Honor Book When I Was Young in the Mountains (1982).
