Ryan Thomas Anderson (born 1981) is an American religious conservative who is primarily known for his opposition to LGBT rights in the United States, including the legal recognition of same-sex marriage in the United States, laws that ban discrimination against LGBT people, and laws that ban the practice of conversion therapy on children.Anderson is currently president of the Ethics and Public Policy Center. He was previously a research fellow at The Heritage Foundation, and the founder and editor-in-chief of Public Discourse, which is the online journal of the Witherspoon Institute.
